We are women that have been blessed with hearts to serve and care for you or your beloved mother.
Maggie Downing Provider:
First and foremost I’m a mother, daughter, sister and friend. It is my passion and gift to care for people.
Growing up I was surrounded by lots of family. As the youngest daughter I was always getting advice and direction from my older brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, mom and dad. As I grew up I learned to appreciate how my family’s values and commitment to each other had shaped my life. I always loved listening to their stories about life’s adventures and challenges. With aging family all around me I became aware of how our culture viewed aging, but my upbringing instilled different beliefs. I had great respect for my elders and the desire to treat them with dignity and respect. Disease is not something any of us would want our loves ones to suffer, but my family had their share. The time I spent caring for them was such an enrichment to my life; to be around such strong, devoted people learning to live productive lives in new ways gave me a heart for the aging population. They were a blessing in my life and gave me the courage and desire in my heart to care for the aging and treat them with respect and encourage them to live life with purpose and dignity.
Laura Mitchell Caregiver:
I have cared for young and old. I thank God for giving me a desire to want to be a caregiver. I have cared for many seniors in the past. I also am a nanny for two girls for the last four years. I take great joy in loving people and fulfilling their needs. It is not a job to me as much as it is the desire of my heart to give to those that are in my care. "You will make known to me the path of life. In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever." Psalm 16:11
