Shipping and Package Deliveries

Our packages are sent via UPS or the U.S. Postal Service. The rates for shipping and handling are as follows:

Most purchases are shipped from our New Mexico store by UPS or USPS delivery service to arrive within 7 to 14 business days of receipt of the order. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays. It is important to us that you receive your order as quickly and inexpensively as possible. We also try and ship orders within 2 days from the date of order. (Side note: During the December Holiday Season an additional day or two for processing might be needed to ship your order). Packages shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will receive an additional surcharge of $18. In the event that Our Summer House experiences delays in preparing an item/items for shipment, we will notify you by email or phone.

Note: Items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. Certain heavy or oversize items cannot be shipped outside the continental United States.

Address Corrections

There is a $15.00 charge for address changes on packages that need to be re-routed during delivery due to an incorrect address. Please be sure that you enter the correct shipping address during checkout.

Gift Wrapping

Gift Wrap is available for only $5.95. We can gift wrap just about anything we sell. There are some oversized items that are just too big as well as some that are shipped directly from the manufacturer that cannot be wrapped. However, most items can be wrapped. So, at the time of checkout let us know what you'd like wrapped, and we will do the rest! $5.95 includes your item in our Kraft box with the Our Summer House logo, and satin ribbon, along with a complimentary gift card - and you just need to add your note in the box provided.*

*Gift boxes are not available for all items.

Returns/Exchanges

Our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, and your satisfaction is our #1 priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, just let us know. For the first 30 days we will gladly refund your original purchase price, less shipping charges - credited back to your original method of payment. After 30 days and up to 45 days, we will issue you a store credit or exchange. Shipping charges will apply to exchanges. After 45 days products are not returnable, or exchangeable.

Return shipments must be shipped prepaid in original packaging , if possible, with all tags in place and a return authorization number printed clearly on the outside of the shipping carton. Please call our toll free number to obtain a return authorization number. Items must be received back at our warehouse within 10 days of receiving your RA #.

Please include a copy of the invoice sent to you at the time of purchase with a brief note explaining the return/exchange and ship the item(s) to the following address:

Please note- we cannot accept returns without the return authorization number on the outside of the box. Any items returned in less than perfect condition will be sent back at the customer's expense.

We cannot accept returns on merchandise that was purchased on sale.

Availability

We work very hard to provide you with unique and inspired products. As a result, many of these products are only available in limited quantities or require large production lead times. When an item is no longer available we make every attempt to remove from the site immediately. Colors

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on our site. The actual colors you see will depend on your computer monitor, and we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate. Gemstones, fabrics, metals, glassware, and some of our garden and home decor product materials may vary in color naturally. We cannot guarantee that all product photography will display colors accurately in every case. We have honestly tried to depict every product as accurately as possible in a variety of views, but please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about a product.
